Did you know that 55% of the world's population has access to the Internet? This means that over 4 billion people are now online. Surprisingly, more than 55% of the content that's posted online is written using the English language, even though only 27% of Internet users speak English.

Did you know that Google processes about 45,000 searches per second? The top 10 searches for 2017 were "fidget spinner", "Aaron Hernandez", "Hurricane Harvey", "Solar eclipse", "Mayweather vs McGregor Fight", "Las Vegas shooting", "Super Bowl", "Tom Petty", "Matt Lauer" and "Hurricane Irma".

Did you know that YouTube was created by three former PayPal employees, and that Google purchased YouTube for $1.65 billion only 18 months after the video sharing service was created? The platform is launched in almost 100 countries, and the top YouTubers earn more than $1 million per month.

Malware, the abbreviation for "malicious software", consists of a great variety of hostile applications which are often used to gather sensitive information, and sometimes even damage individual computers or entire networks. According to The Independent IT security Institute in Germany, the number of malware applications has exceeded 120 million in 2017.

Attackers utilize a great variety of techniques to infect the targeted computers with malware. Often, a dedicated server is set up for nefarious purposes, to give you an example. Why your Internet connection is sooo slow


Network specialists already know this: wired Internet connections will always provide the best performance. According to a Data Alliance consultant, by setting up an Ethernet-based network, you can get up to 1,000% faster Internet connections, significantly diminished signal interference, and much lower latency. So, if you have a regular computer in your home, it is best to connect it to the Internet by using a wired Ethernet cord. On a side note, wired connections with also help you keep most hackers at bay.
